Karnataka SET 2018 Hall Ticket: The University of Mysore will be held the Karnataka State Eligibility Test 2018 on 6th December 2018. Recently K-SET notification was released from eligible candidates. Huge numbers of candidates have applied to SET and online registration. So candidates are waiting for exam & also will excited to find admit cards. The university has been issued KSET Admit Card 2018 on its official website before 10-15 days of examination. University of Mysore is a nodal Agency recognized by the UGC for conducting KSET for Lectureship. Recently in the month of July University of Mysore issued a notification for Karnataka State Eligibility Test 2018 for recruit Higher Secondary School Teachers and Non vocational Teachers in the state. Lot of applications was received by the University from many interested and eligible candidates.
Important Dates for KSET examination 2018
Notification date : 21st August 2018
Submission of On-line Application commences from : 23rd August 2018
Last date for submission of online application : 22nd September 2018
Last date for submission of online application with late fee of Rs.150/- : 03rd October 2018
Last date for submission of hard copy of the Application form along with copy of the bank challan, category certificates, to the respective nodal center. : 06th October 2018
Date of Examination : 16th December 2018
NOTE: PRINTOUT OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM SENT DIRECTLY TO THE KSET CENTER, MYSORE WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED.
KSET 2018 Exam Pattern:
KSET Exam 2018 will be conducted in 3 papers. The first paper will includes the General paper is on Teaching, Aptitude and General Awareness and second paper will includes the selected subject with 50 multiple choice questions and third paper will includes the selected paper in depth with 75 multiple choice questions. There is no negative marking for Paper I, Paper II and Paper III. Karnataka State Eligibility Test is purely based on Pen and Paper i.e. Offline (OMR Sheet). Paper I and Paper II will conduct on Morning Session and Third Paper will be conducted on Afternoon Session.
- Last date for submit of hard copy of application is over: 21st Sept 2018
- Date for release admit card: Around 20th to 25th Nov 2018.
- Examination date: 6th December 2018

Syllabus for KSET 2017
Syllabus: Syllabus for KSET examination will be the same as in UGC/CSIR-NET. Syllabi for all the KSET subjects can be downloaded from the KSET website http://kset.uni-mysore.ac.in. The KSET center, Mysore will not send the syllabus to the candidates individually.
In case of any discrepancy found in the Kannada translation of a question booklet the question in English version shall be taken as final.
